Dr. Tej Bhavsar is a practicinging Rheumatologist, Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine ( ABIM) and has earned his Doctor of Medicine for the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, completed his Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA, and his Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM where he served as Chief Fellow.
Prior to his current position with Cumming Rheumatology and Arthritis , LLC, Dr. Bhavsar has held Rheumatology positions with Middletown Medical in Middletown NY, and the Center for Rheumatology in Saratoga Springs, NY, with other medical positions held at ABQ Health Partners in Albuquerque, NM, Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, CA, and the University of California Berkeley Student Health in Berkeley, CA.
Dr. Bhavsar has authored and co-authored several publications at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where he led innovative research in the practical field of knee arthrocentesis, and the Department of Radiation Oncology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.
Dr. Bhavsar has dedicated time volunteering with community health clinics in Binghamton and Syracuse, N.Y. as a government outpatient physician in Ahmedabad, India, as a clinician at the Ayurvedic Institute Graduate Clinic in Albuquerque, NM, and as a physician at a charity hospital in rural Gujarat, India.
Dr. Bhavsar is also a certified yoga instructor and graduate of the Ayurvedic Practitioner program under Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM.
He is fluent in both English and Gujarati and is currently welcoming new patients over the age of 18.

Dr. Alpana Jayadevan, DNP-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mercer University. She obtained her master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner and graduated with Sigma Theta Tau honors from Georgia State University. She completed her doctorate in nursing practice and graduated again with Sigma Theta Tau honors at Emory University. Dr. Jayadevan has worked with top hospitals including Emory, Northside, Piedmont, Grady and Columbia Medical. She is experienced in a wide range of specialties including many years in orthopedic surgery. She has multiple years of supervisory experience which involved managing and educating healthcare staff. Dr. Jayadevan is also a member of the Rheumatology Nurses Society, Georgia Society of Rheumatology, and Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers. She is multilingual and well versed in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Dr. Jayadevan spent most of her life in Georgia and she currently resides in Cumming with her family. She earned her Masters of Medical Science from Mercer University in Physician Assistant studies in 2011. Amanda is a board certified Physician Assistant under the National Commission of Certification for Physician Assistants. She has 6 years of orthopedic surgery experience prior to joining Cumming Rheumatology and Arthritis. Amanda is well versed in administering joint injections and aspirations. She enjoys treating disease states that involve bones, joints and muscles. She is a native of Dawsonville where she and her family currently reside. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and running. She also enjoys being active in her church.
